The Weekend Market (Chatuchak)
Chatuchak weekend market is another excellent shopping destination for you to visit. It is the biggest open-air market in the world and has over 15,000 vendors. Many of the vendors can also ship goods to your home country, so there is no need to worry about whether they will fit in your suitcase or not. However, there is no air conditioning, so you may want to go in the early morning or later in the afternoon when it is not as hot.
Siam Paragon
Another shopping centre which is close to the centre of the city is Siam Paragon. If you are looking for designer fashion brands, then this is the shopping mall for you. There is plenty of high-end shopping available here, and unlike the weekend market, there is plenty of air conditioning. You can also enjoy some delicious food as you wander around, and you can also catch a movie if you have some time to kill.
